This is the fourth consecutive year that we have won this title beating off competition from PCCW Global, Emerging Marketing Communications and WIOCC. In previous years we won over Bharti Airtel and Orange.
The Global Carrier Awards are the most prestigious awards dedicated exclusively to wholesale telecoms and are independently judged by a panel of telecoms analysts, industry experts and the senior editorial team of Capacity magazine. Companies are judged for their innovation, vision and service excellence.

Continued expansion of our fibre, wireless and satellite networks and ability to provide connectivity to every single African country – including South Sudan.
FTTH build in Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe – providing the fastest broadband speeds in Africa with up to 100mbps enjoyed by both our home and business customers
Video on demand service – work continues to finalise this and it will be launching shortly
CrashPlan Africa – we launched this service at the beginning of the summer and it enabled a more sophisticated and reliable back-up service for the people of Africa, benefiting both large and small businesses
East Africa Data Centre has continued to expand, hosting a plethora of international brands and operators/ISPs in the region
