The conference, organised by Africa Confidential, will be held on July 5 under the theme Zimbabwe 2016: Rebooting and Rebuilding.
Finance minister Patrick Chinamasa, Macro-Economic Planning and Investment Promotion minister Obert Mpofu, Industry and Commerce minister Mike Bimha and Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe governor John Mangudya are expected to address the conference .
Zimbabwe owes the International Monetary Fund, World Bank and African Development Bank ((AfDB) a combined $1,8 billion, which is envisaged to be cleared by the end of June this year as a precursor towards paying the country’s staggering $10 billion debt.
AfDB is expected to play a leading role in Zimbabwe’s new debt clearance thrust.
