Zimbabwe's leading Internet Service Provider, ZOL Zimbabwe, has recently launched the myZOL mobile application which gives you access the latest news from ZOL Zimbabwe and from around the world.
What is myZOL mobile application?
The Application is accessible from Google Play and Apple Store.One of the most interesting features that we found the app had and I believe they are the only ones doing it in Zimbabwe, was the live chats feature on the app. This app can be very useful when you have an issue with your internet connection or any of ZOL’s services. And since I have been using ZOL Fibroniks for some time now, I have noticed that their over the phone or chats Support is more effective than going to their offices. I have also fallen in love with the news feed, though I felt that it lacked sufficient local content.
The version “1.0” of the myZOL application has many exciting features which include the following:

My Account – Any active ZOL customer is able to access their account details from the application.

Latest News – Get the latest news updates

Survey – Take part in various surveys, giving ZOL feedback and ideas on various issues

Zol Products – Find out more about the wide range of products and services that ZOL has to offer including ZOL Fibroniks, ZOL Broadband and ZOLphone.

Knowledge Base – Browse through the Knowledge Base to get various tips and information to questions that may arise about any product or service.

Social Media – Follow ZOL on Twitter and Instagram using myZOL app. Any contributions or feedback, as long as the hashtags #PoweredByZOL or #LiveLikeThis are used, will appear on the feed.

Submit a ticket – Customers are able to submit tickets that will go directly to the ZOL Support team for assistance.

ZOL Contacts – Used to get in touch with the ZOL team (Support, Sales, Billing).Live Chat is also available for instant live support or sales enquiries.

ZOLspot Finder – With the introduction of the free ZOLspot access, or for a ZOL Fibroniks customer who is on Fibroniks on the Go, customers will be able to search for ZOLspot locations.
Using the ZOLspot Finder I noticed that you will find all the ZOLspots so that you can access your free Wi-Fi nationwide and even some parts in Africa like Pretoria and Lukusa, even in the gulf of Guinea there is a ZOLSpot. This makes it easy to use the 50MB or 30 minutes free wifi access that ZOL has on their ZOLspot.
The sad part is you are force to watch a video ,which is a small fee to pay for free Wifi. A few days back ZOL made it clear that you can now access ZOLspot at all Innscor Fastfoods premises/outlets and these consist of Chicken Inn, Creamy Inn, Bakers Inn and Pizza Inn.
ZOL Zimbawe has also started a promotion title in which you could win free internet for a month, if you download the app and participate in the myZOL mobile application survey.
