Gutridge Business Solutions Launches Microsoft Dynamics Navision in Harare

The CEO of Gutridge Business Solutions Mr Tariro Dambiranwa was happy to announce that their product that has been received with great enthusiasm in the country as this was also evident of their clients who use the product.

The company was started in April 2014 and the management team gladly say they have been in the IT business for more than 20 years and their mission is to be the leading provider of excellent services for Microsoft dynamics Navision and other Microsoft application products.


Speaking at a well attended event graced by IT gurus, decision makers in business as well as marketing individuals and aspiring IT technicians, the executive was so confident that the entry of the product to the Zimbabwean market will change the way we do business more efficiently at the most reasonable cost price.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software product from Microsoft.

The product is part of the Microsoft Dynamics family, and intended to assist with finance, manufacturing, customer relationship management, supply chains, analytics and electronic commerce for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise and local subsidiaries of large international Groups. Value-added resellers (VAR)s can have full access to the business logic source code.

The Microsoft Dynamics NAV software is composed of three major components:

The DatabaseServer, a database that stores the Microsoft Dynamics NAV data (as of NAV 2013 only Microsoft SQL Server)
The Application Server (starting from NAV 2009 RTC), a servicethat controls all aspects of Microsoft Dynamics NAV’s operation
The Client(s), the actual user interface into Microsoft Dynamics NAV. NAV 2013 includes three clients:

  • Windows client
  • SharePoint client
  • Web client

NAV 2015 further introduced a Tablet Client

The clients who were present at the official launch consisted of N Richards Group CEO Mr T Richards who gladly spoken of how reliable the software is especially in tracking how the business is run. He spoke of point of sales analysis which they had implemented  to manage their stock as well as monitoring the viability of the business.
