Lenovo has launched its camera-centric Vibe Shot smartphone in India at US$349 via digital launch which was live streamed on YouTube.
The Lenovo Vibe Shot was announced earlier this year at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Lenovo Vibe Shot features a 5-inch full HD display with Corning Glass on both front and back of the device. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset paired with 3G RAM.

The Lenovo Vibe Shot is designed like a compact point-and-shoot camera. The smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel rear shooter with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a tricolor flash. The rear camera comes with a 6-element lens module and features Infra-red auto-focus which is twice as fast as regular autofocusing system. Lenovo has added an 8-megapixel front shooter to please the selfie obsessed folks.
The smartphone comes with 32GB internal storage and is backed by a 2900mAh battery. The handset is loaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop and will be upgradable to Android Marshmallow. The smartphone will be available from Lenovo’s website and across 1,400 Lenovo exclusive stores and leading retail stores later.
