Wellington Makamure, Liquid Telecom Zim Managing Director and Group Executive Southern Region was there to receive the prestigious award. Speaking after receiving the award, Mr Makamure said, “ This is a culmination of hard work that our staff and all stakeholders put in ensuring we are the connectivity provider of choice in Zimbabwe and Africa.”
This year’s ceremony took place on the 30th of June in Victoria Falls and was attended by Her Excellency, the First Lady of the Republic of Zimbabwe Amai Grace Mugabe. Minister of Industry and Commerce Hon Mike Bimha also graced the event. Liquid Telecom Zimbabwe has built the largest fibre network in Zimbabwe providing broadband, voice and data in all the major cities and towns.
